The Legacy by Dylan Allen

4.0

I've had hold of this baby for a long time, and I should have picked it up straight away because I loved it. I ended up listening to the audio, and the narrator for Confidence was hilarious, sexy and an absolute fire cracker.

River and Confidence have an hilarious meet cute moment that flourishes into something so much more. They have their challenges to get through, especially, when it comes to dealing with River's family, but not only does Hayes have to worry about Confidence getting on with his family he's yet to realise what secrets are about to be revealed.

I loved how Confidence is so independent. She strives to better herself and has a humongous about of passion for the cause she tries to help. Her passion for helping the community is what enhances Hayes's character development. He goes from having minimal compassion to altering his outlook on life.

The ending was slightly rushed, and it seemed like there were loose ends being rushed to get finished. It could have actually been a two part story, and I would have loved it just as much, if not more.
