I think if I read this in middle school I would’ve given this a 5 star rating. This book does a great job of addressing grief and questions left opened. The characters are lovable and Green’s writing makes you feel as if you’re in their friend group. This has the perfect touch of teenage angst, as well, which makes it very nostalgic and almost comforting to read.
Graphic: Car accident, Death, and Grief
Moderate: Mental illness
Minor: Suicide
