Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

2. On re-reading this I definitely appreciate the story more. Having now read Shadow and Bone, I understand the struggles of the Grisha better than when this was my first introduction to the world. Six Of Crows is the better story but I needed Shadow and Bone to explain the world their living in and now feel even more invested in the Grishaverse. 4 stars

1. Good little story, but nothing near 5 star praise. I like Locke Lamora more than Kaz. Interesting characters though, I look forward to the sequel. 3 stars
