Dragon riding/ militray school? Check. Good writing to bring characters and setting alive? Check. A tomance that I could not stop reading? Check. A lil cliché? Check but I do not CARE. I had the time of my life reading this book and finished it in a day. It is 690 something pages. A DAY! I think it will please a lot of people whether you care about lore, action or romance. A great cliffhanger too so gotta get my hands on the next one.
