Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter

I liked the writing and the characters were sweet and funny. It was a nice read with lots of rom-com references (oh and music!), which added to the story points, but also were nice reminders for me.
Liz is lost in daydreams and hopes of grand romantic actions and conversations like in the movies she is obsessed with (in part bc of grief) and maybe because I have too have felt like a romantic fool this worked for me. Although Liz does take this to an extreme, it makes for a more fun story.
