I could not put this book down. I read it one day. I wanted to know so badly how the story kept unfolding. I loved going back and forth from 2008 to present with the chapters. The cliffhangers made me not want to stop reading, I was so curious to know more.
I was highlighting and making my own conclusions as the story went on and it felt so fun to be surprised or to even feel right about the mystery. Too many times did my eyes go to the bottom of the page because the chapter was too good. Fantastic read, really made my heart race and my stomach drop.
The ending was fine, but the last chapter was weirdly unneeded. It felt random and like it was a way to add closure that wasn't really needed.
