What a touching story I think should be read by everyone!
There are many sad moments, but the resilience and persisting dreams of Francie and her family are inspiring!
I rarely read historical fiction, but ~1915-1918 Brooklyn is very interesting simultaneously because it is so different (physically) and so similar (psychologically) to modern life.
I can't believe how close I felt to Francie, and how many others must feel the same way since this book has been beloved by millions!
