Wow. What a book. It took me a month to read this, as it was hard to get into, but once I got in to it, I couldn’t put it down.
I like the relationship between Soraya and Magnus but I wish at some parts there was more.
I love the dual POV of Soraya and Neda, talking about their experiences growing up as Muslim women and dealing with their relationships.
Soraya’s relationship with her father (and his issues) is something that I can relate to. Reading about it makes me feel less alone and I love seeing this sort of representation. Overall this book is a 4/5! Would recommend and read again.
