On Palestine by Ilan Pappé, Noam Chomsky

informative reflective medium-paced

4.5

Great exchange between Chomsky and Pappé, both of whom are very knowledgeable but each from their own unique perspective. I only wish the conversation would have included a Palestinian scholar to round it out more.

The essays at the back mirror bits of the previous conversation. This might feel repetitive to some, but I think the essays add to the transcript.

It definitely helps to have at least a foundational understanding before diving into this book. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a primer for anyone who is new to the topic. Although, if you started with the essays before reading the transcript, that might work.
