This may be more of a someone-already-living-with-anxiety-thing but I struggled with the main character (which I guess could also mean it's just such an accurate portrayal of generalized anxiety that it felt too real to be enjoyable for me). I also think I just like Alexis Hall's spicier books better - no sex scenes in this one.
