How to Make a Horror Movie and Survive by Craig DiLouie

Did not finish book. Stopped at 36%.
It just didn't feel up my alley. I realized I wasn't really paying attention and didn't care what the main character(s) were up to. 
The main guy seemed too at ease with everything too quickly while also letting it go so fast (although I don't need to finish the book to know he's just as quickly drawn back in again). Like the dude watches a whole massacre and is like "welp. I gotta get me some of that".
Made me think of Little Shop of Horrors but with a camera, kind of deal. 
Also,
he accidentally kills his beloved Susan and is barely upset by it. Sure he cries and buries her, but it didn't really seem to affect him beyond that


Also, also, unrelated, the narrator sounds like the computer from FNAF Sister Location and that threw me off lol.
