Maskerade by Terry Pratchett

Was I expecting this to be a vague retelling of Phantom of the Opera? Not at all. But did I embrace it and love it? Absolutely.
God this was so good and goofy but hit all the spots I needed it to be. Plus, just the amount of little musical theatre references that were crammed into this made me giggle. I love granny and nanny, the witches series is slowly becoming my favourite and yet for some reason I always forget that until I'm tangled in the midst of it.
And oh! God, I love every story within Ankh-Morpork basically now also has the cameos of the watch and also the librarian (and most of the time the wizards too!). I fall more and more in love with the Discworld with every book and I can't wait to get to re-read them all sometime.
