The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder by David Grann

adventurous dark informative medium-paced

4.75

A twisting, turning, and altogether gripping tale of a lesser-known — to the modern reader, or at least to me! — disaster of British naval history. My one complaint is that the ending felt a bit rushed, yet I know (and Grann acknowledges) that many of these men who survived simply dropped from the historical record.
