Allegiant by Veronica Roth

5.0

It is devastatingly brilliant.

I actually think this might be my favourite in the series. For some reason I did get a feel of the major thing that happened in this book happening when reading Insurgent (though, I knew it wouldn't happen in Insurgent). I guess I just got a grimace of what Veronica Roth was capable of. I think works for the series and was the needed ending. I think anything else would probably be cheap, well definitely in comparison.

I know I shall rant/gush somewhat.
I knew it. I bloody knew it, is what I liked to say. I could tell that by the end of the series Tris would die. I don't actually know what in Insurgent gave me the feeling, but I just knew it was likely happen. I can't say for certain because sometimes books do surprise you. I just felt so bad for Four and I cried a lot but it was actually more his grief for Tris than Tris actual death. His grief was so beautifully done. Especially, the part where you knew Tris was dead and he didn't.
