Butter Honey Pig Bread

I REALLY liked this one!
Tenderness, love, tender love. Queer, Nigerian, partly set in Canada, right up my alley I don't know what took me so long to start reading it. Loved how it explored the different family dynamics, loved the narrative. Felt that the novel could've explored the mother, Kambirinachi's story more. Ogbanje stuff felt a little surface level, one-dimensional.
I might try one of the recipes described in the novel, I wonder how successful that'll be. Still don't get the title that much, but this book is highly recommended.

Really just a ghost at the will of her kin. Maybe that's intentional, but I wanted more from kambi (her daughters also wanted more lol)I might try one of the recipes described in the novel, I wonder how successful that'll be. Still don't get the title that much, but this book is highly recommended.
