The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

2.0

2.5 and only because the author decided to depict the life of gay men during a time in which it was considered a crime, and sin and an illness.
Half the book is description or philosophical dialogue that don’t really serve the plot of the story. I had to take breaks every chapter and a half because my brain couldn’t focus anymore on what was necessary and what was not.
