Ya’ll know I love this author. And as usual, I had a hard time putting her book down. I wasn’t as hooked on this one as much as Slaughter’s others, though, and was sort of meh about the answer to the whodunnit.
Fair warning, this was probably the most difficult one of her books as far as stomaching the content - she did not shy away from brutal details of the serial killer/rapist and the terror he inflicted upon women.
So though I don’t feel like my time was wasted on this one, it wouldn’t be my first recommendation compared to the other great works Slaughter has produced.
