Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell

4.5

I needed this!! This book healed my angsty self that read Carry On 6 years ago. I enjoyed the complexities of Simon and Baz finding themselves and what their relationship is. Them finding out what a relationship is/what it means (you get closer and closer and then you stay there ❤️). This was also the first Simon Snow book where I truly enjoyed Agatha’s perspective. I’m so happy for her!!

I will say the plot got a little messy. Don’t think too hard about the magic system because it will fall apart a little bit.

Wayward Son felt like a road trip detour to them getting to this place- where they learned that “fixing” things takes true effort and it’s okay to make mistakes along the way. I’m so proud of Simon. This was a good ending ❤️.
