What was that? Seriously, what was that?
I've never read a horror story before, and I've got to say this novella has had my mind in shock for hours.
The book is only 32 pages, and as I was reading it I kept thinking: okay this is cute, this is interesting, okay how is this going to end, is this really a horror story, how do these normally go?
There were so many thoughts I had, and then in the last 5 pages my heart dropped. My anxiety through the roof, I started reading everything twice because surely I wasn't reading what I thought I was reading. Dumbfounded.
I then proceeded to reread the entire book again, my mouth open the entire time, realizing what that all meant.
I can't say how this novella compares to other novellas or full-length horror novels, but if you're in the market for a quick creepy read this book is for you.
