This book almost has it all. There are vampires and demons and incubi (incubuses?) and fae and humans. There are gladiator arenas and assassins and forbidden romance (okay that's a stretch but only a little!!). There is magic and swordfights and portals to other worlds. The writing itself could be a little better but that really is the only critique I have for this book. There is a small cliffhanger but it doesn't feel very cliffhanger-y. If you are okay with a good bit of blood and fighting and a few sexual fantasies (but nothing explicit) then this book is for YOU.
