Rental Person Who Does Nothing by Shoji Morimoto

emotional fast-paced

To give something a name is to distinguish it from other things. It draws a line. Perhaps Rental Person sits somewhere along the line between 'friend' and 'stranger'.
a no nonsense book on how it's important to just exist, and above that, to respectfully exist with each other!!! couldn't help but imagine how dangerous a service like this could be in a different country. given that the author was hired to be present at places ranging from a library to a courthouse, i wonder what stories did not make it into the book
