The Last Girls Standing by Jennifer Dugan

3.0

You have to suspend your disbelief on this one. There were many times that I was like- meh, I don’t think that was how they would do that in real life.

That being said it wasn’t horrible. I personally was enjoying it more when it was following along the lines of campy horror. Watching someone descend into madness is less fun.

There were times when plot points were missed, or people started acting very out of character, that had me stop and question everything, and not in a good way.

This book really just focuses on the importance of not lying lol. The adults in this book were really lacking and communicating seemed hard for everyone. Overall though it was interesting enough and I finished it. I would recommend if for people who enjoyed There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins.
