This was the first read of the bookclub i created with my best friend, wish us luck to keep this up bc we both always end up in reading slumps...we are trying to do better this year but also this is fun friend activity !! 

The book is actually very fun and gave me so much wattpad vibes but in a good way. It reminded me of the stories i used to love reading in there with drama and highschool romances. I really like the main characters, johnny had me giggling sometimes! I also really like Joey and his gf. Gibs also had his moments. The rest of the characters are fine so far but i dont know much about them to have a proper opinion, i like them just fine. 

If this didnt have the constant slut shaming, or the weird scenes like johnny seeing shannon naked (wtf was that?? also the way theres more than one scene this applies to smh), or their first kiss being while johnny is literally in pain and bleeding from his injury...then this would've gotten a higher rating but oh well it is what it is...

But we are continuing with the saga, I am actually so excited!
