Blood in Her Veins: Nineteen Stories from the World of Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter

4.0

I just finished the Jane short story collection ‘Cat o Nine Tails’ as I was able to find it for free on Audible - so that meant I only read the shorts that did not appear in that collection.

‘Bound No More’ was my favourite. ‘Cat Fight’ was a fun one as it took me back to the same locale as ‘Beneath a Bloody Moon’ and ‘Dark Water’ which were two of my favourites from ‘Cat O Nine Tails’.
I also really enjoyed ‘The Devil’s Left Boot’ and expanding my knowledge of the Everhart sisters.
Of the 6 shorts I read I really liked them all so don’t have a least favourite, although I suppose ‘Snafu’ could take the slot purely because of the length as I would have liked to know more about Jane training as a PI - but they can’t all be longer shorts or they wouldn’t be shorts.

4 stars - so fun learning more about Jane’s world with this huge short story collection.
