My Fair Duchess by Megan Frampton

5.0

I am not a huge fan of dukes, yet historical romance is filled with them. So it was nice to read a book that offers a twist with a woman inheriting a dukedom, and her hero being a steward with some aristocratic connections. I love Genevieve, and it is so wonderful to see her come into her own as a duchess, without giving in to societal pressures. And her tension-filled interactions with Archie (and their heavily edited letters) make for an entertaining and comic story.
