This was my first Charlotte Wood novel and something completely different for me. A journal style of writing was extremely well written. It captivated me and made me think about the subject matter it explored(even when I wasn't listening to it). It was sad and yet hopeful as we learn about our main and character nad the community of people she lives with and in. Overall, it was a very thought-provoking book that kept me listening and wanting to know more.
