Definitely thought-provoking. The way the narrator describes how people handle the disappearances had me really contemplating the way in which people can accept oppression over time little by little. Reminds me a lot of the metaphor of slowly boiling a frog in water, and it feels very relevant with the rise in conservatism and fascism over the last several years. This one will definitely stick with me.
