The Art of Joy is an interesting book which probably could have been at least 100 pages shorter. The author certainly accomplishes their goals though I feel the middle (50-60%) is a bit boring
since our introductory characters all die
. Nonetheless, certainly a book which could have been in my ballpark (philosophical, historical, etc)— sad to be unable to rate it higher. 3.99/5
