Anne de Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

3.0

DNF review: It sounded like a great book, but right now I need something more entertaining than a farm with a beautiful view

Actual review: I saw this review on goodreads, where a guy said he didn't really get the story and found anne a bit lousy. Then someone responded saying it's because he is a guy, and the book is made for girls... well, I don't think I'm a girl then

This was my second time trying to read it (after dnf 2 years ago), Anne is definitely the delulu of literature, but also annoying, it's not that SHE is annoying, but the talking... damn, I couldn't take it, when reading I would be skimming and when listening to the audiobook I would disassociate and start to be delulu myself.

I wish the book was like one of Anne's stories, romantic, as she said ALL THE F*CKING TIME... anyways, what did I get from the book? Nothing, maybe a laugh or two, but thanks to the other caracthers, I love her parents, they are my 2 personalities.

Well, I guess that's enough, I'm indeed a guy (and I agree with everything that father of 2 girls said on goodreads)

But I must say that I appreciate the ending, the way she matured, ugh, AMAZING. And since I love a good romance, there's the perfect cliff hanger for me... onto the next books

obs: this might be my longest review, apparently I have an Anne within myself
