What Lies Between Us by John Marrs
3.0
A 3 stars for me
It could have been a 4 stars but the ending was beyond unrealistic.
This is a story of a person a lot of issues one of them being fear of abandonment who goes to extreme measures, to put it mildly.
The story unfolds nicely and it's told mainly by the two main characters Nina and Maggie. There are some good, nice twists eased in the story. The ending had a huge potential but it went completely the other way and for this reason I found the book to not to be enjoyable. I get a dark atmosphere but people that get away with everything for years on end....that is a hard one to believe.
