With book 2 (skate the line) coming out 02.06.25... EEKKK! I thought I would throw this out into the world first! This was the first book I've read by @sjsylvis and I am honestly just so bummed that I didn't find her sooner!!

I looooove me a good interconnected, standalone hockey romance series and these are 🧑‍🍳💋!

Emory and Scottie were at each others throats from the beginning... doesn't help she was trying to blackmail him lol. But, this is a true enemies to lovers, forced prox, marriage of convenience story and I'm obsessed!! 

My heart melted at the way that Scottie began to break down Emory's walls, slowly allowing him to see how in love with her he actually was. He realized he had to stop fighting it, and in the process, had to help her see love for herself.

After being through so much while growing up and taking care of everyone else, Scottie needed someone to take care of her, and Emory just did it with so much love (and banter ofc!)

Read this one asap and then you can jump straight into Skate the Line (book 2) on Feb 6th!!
