challenging dark tense

3.0

This was disturbing and difficult to read. But outside of these moments, it was reflective and challenging in a whole new way.

The most disturbing part of this book was how believable I found it. I could see exactly how we could get to those point. The true terror of this book is the near dystopian Orwellian world we find ourselves in.

I’m lucky that I can’t really visualise as I read - if I could, I’m not sure I would have made it through some of these scenes.
