I'm still in shock—maybe even haunted—over everything that happened in this book. I found myself in a constant state of fear for the characters, even after it ended, even after it's been a week since I finished it. Although they were victorious, I didn't feel like celebrating. There were just far too many lost and ruined lives. Finnick's and Prim's death pained me the most. They were my favorites, and they had so much of life post-Hunger Games to look forward to. I appreciated that Katniss didn't let Coin take over. She was too close on the road that Snow took—maybe even already there, only framed a little bit differently.
