In all honesty this was not what I hoped it would be. It was slow and did not really capture my attention the way I expected. 

I am normally the girl jumping to watch the new show or listen to the latest podcast about murder and serial killers or gory horror movies and medical shows and this book was honestly disappointing. 

The relationship between Rowan and Sloane (aka Butcher and Blackbird) did contain some tropes that I enjoy but it still felt off (it also moved slow - not what you expect from serial killers) 

However it is kinda cute (only in a book way) that they both stalk each other
