'Beyond' tells you how it is from page 1 - teen Alex's sister has cancer - hitting the reader with that devastating news in the same way that it would hit any cancer victim or their loved ones. This brilliant novel leads us through Alex's journey to not only cope with that fact, but also battle to be a normal teen with all the struggles that brings too.

Beyond felt like a very honest reflection of that situation. A heart-warming must-read. Looking forward to more novels from this author.
