i very much stayed up a little later to finish this volume because guys somehow it keeps getting better and more insane. story wise, everything is way more crazier, deeper, and intriguing. character wise, it’s super fun to see the different sides of maomao and jinshi, apart and together. the visual of jinshi leading an army… #NEEDTHAT maomao… oh my maomao <3. the biggest thing right now for me is the complete slow burn of jinmao and how she is starting to accept this… very slowly… but surely.

and the details of hinting at jinshi’s origins. i know… and maomao can guess but jinshi doesn’t realize. it’s crazy guys i love it here
