I have wanted to read the Cat and Mouse duet for a while, as saw that “Satan’s Affair” was mentioned as a kind of prequel that should be read first, I jumped into it.
I’m not going to lie, I was a little unsure about it, with the amount of gore and smut that it involved, but I kept going, and I am glad that I did. There was a twisty ending that I wasn’t expecting, and I am looking forward to starting the first book of the series, “Haunting Adeline”.

I came to like Sibby’s character as the book went on, and Zade has intrigued me, so jumping into the next one to see where their story goes!
