They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

2.5

2.5 stars.

I wish I had enjoyed this book more than I actually did. I’m thinking the audiobook factor might have had something to do with my experience, but I wasn’t emerged into their story at all. I really liked the concept of it, I just didn’t get attached to the characters as I wish I did. In other words, I just didn’t care one bit.

I was really expecting and ready to get my heart broken into a million pieces but then this book happened and now all I am is disappointed. There were so many things that did not make any sense to me.
The fact that the ending (they both die at the end, surprise) got me like “Oh well. Can I go get some pizza now?, says it all.

The rest of the reviews of this book make me feel heartless but man, what can I say, I was bored.
