Whilst this is part of a series it can easily be read as a stand alone and is a full length novel. I get the impression that the other books focus a bit more on Club X and what happens there, it plays only a very minor role in this story.

The writing is excellent quality, the pace is good and I liked that neither was sure what was real and what wasn't. The book is written from both POV's, so we know how the hero and heroine feel and what they are thinking but they don't and I quite liked this effect.

I really enjoyed reading the story of Zander and Arianna, they are very likeable characters, rounded and with a well portrayed chemistry. They are both a little aloof at times, but this is in keeping with their upbringing/past history/current mental state and it didn't spoil the story.

I felt the last few chapters were a little rushed, the angst level could have been upped a little more. The conclusion seemed a little too easy and a little unlikely but hey this is fiction and perhaps money and power can achieve that outcome. It's typical of the bad boy billionaire type of book, but it is a very good example of it and well worth the read.
