This volume was a perfect conclusion to the series. I love the way this story wraps up and the art is particularly gorgeous. Seeing Makoto come into himself was a highlight, and despite the fact that there are not only hefty time-skips but also significant jumps in power that aren’t seen, it still feels satisfying.
I have a feeling that I’ve gotten used to the voice and might rate volume one higher now, but regardless, seeing this series though was worth it.
