Favourite Quote: “I’d like to come hide away with you if you’ll have me. Just say the word and I’m yours. Love, Luca“

Tropes: pen pals, enemies to lovers, slow burn, miscommunication, he falls first

This book had me thinking all sorts of things first I thought Jake was a serial delete then I was confused then I thought is he stalker I was just baffled by the storyline. It just kept going and then the ending. I just figured it out maybe a chapter before!!! I did wonder at the beginning and I thought well no his name is Jake so you know it can’t be him, but I did figure out the security guard. I figured that out. !!

Naomi and Luca the letters they were writing okay they weren’t the nicest but I did just feel the connection the whole way through. I thought it was so sweet that they kept writing to each other no matter what and then the coincidence about the return letters both sides what the hell and the fact that he all of a sudden starts writing back to her such a clever clever storyline, I couldn’t put the book down .

In the end it was kind of one of those coincidental irritating why moments but at the same time I understood it and it was very very clever.

I loved that Jake took her to the aquarium. I thought that was so sweet but you could definitely tell he was hiding something but he just didn’t know what it was and I kept thinking is he a stalker. I feel really bad about that!!!

I am curious will this be a standalone or a series..?
