This is the second book in the Broken Heart series I read from Susie Tate. I liked this second novel but found it harder to like the hero. You cannot but feel sorry for the unrequited love Lou has for Dylan. Lou comes across as a strong willed and determined women, but deep down she is lonely and insecure. I found it at times hard to belief that the "door mat" Lou was the same women who is able to put people in their place with a snappy comment. Dylan comes across as a loveable larrikin, but I found that he was often not more than an selfish oaf, jumping to conclusions and hurting Lou. Found it hard to see Lou forgiving Dylan time and time again. I would have given up on him much sooner!
