adventurous dark mysterious tense fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? Plot

Want to FLY through a book? Might I recommend this one!     ⁣✨ 4.2 stars ✨ ⁣

🌊 A transatlantic cruise gone horribly, horribly wrong. Short chapters is the best thing to happen to my reading. May life bless all authors who construct their book this way. 😆 THE LAST ONE is made up of 133 short chapters (448 pages) and almost every single one of those ends with a cliff hanger or bombshell revelation. It makes it nearly impossible to put down and I was here for it!!⁣

Why not 5 stars? Structurally, it was a little repetitive at times. Also, there were a few plot points that were a little 🧐 for me. But all in all, this was a winner for me. ⁣

I was going to read this in November, but since my family was going to take our first cruise in December I was warned to wait, to avoid being traumatized on our cruise. I’m glad I waited, just so I could picture this story taking place on the ship we just got off. ⁣

Fun (disturbing) read, I recommend!
