Bloodsucking Fiends: A Love Story by Christopher Moore

3.0

If I could forget about how I spent the first disc and a half wondering where Christopher Moore lost his mojo, this would have been a four-star book. I'm not sure what it was about Jody and Tommy that I couldn't stand either of them initially, but I cared enough by the end that I didn't want to get out of the car during the last disc. The last chapter was particularly well-done. I went from cheering Tommy and applauding one of the best revenge scenes ever, to rolling my eyes at how pathetic he was, to nodding at the cleverness of Moore's plotting.

I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series.
