“Anonymous Mom Posts” is the story of a group of Southern California moms who, despite have a very active, and snarky, social media group, realize that it may not be a substitute for the deep connections that in person connections can provide. This debut novel from Jenifer Goldin touches on some heavier themes that these women are facing. It highlights the need for connection, a strong support structure, and the benefit of counseling. The cast of characters in the book is rather large for a shorter book with some deep themes, that while resolved, we’re not necessarily explored in depth making this feel somewhat superficial but still entertaining.
