1/18/23: Re-read in prep for Book 2. UGH THIS BOOK. I love it so much. It was just as entertaining this re-read. Oh that ending still is one of my favorites.

Oh what a book. WHAT A BOOK. WOW.

I don’t even know where to begin I just loved everything. I could not put this one down at all. Every page just kept my eyes glued to the words and wanting to know what happened. This is a fantastic fae story and felt very fresh from past ones I’ve read. I like how well the Seelie and Unseelie Courts are explained for this Fae world.

Now, the plot itself is absolutely out of this world. I just could not get enough of it. So many twists and turns that had me mouth dropped and yelling out loud. I just never knew what was going to happen next! All the lies, the betrayals, the deceit, the secrets… SO GOOD.

The characters are a delight to follow along with! I ADORE Brie, Sebastian, and Finn. Each of them brought fantastic personalities to the story. You can see how much Brie truly cares for both of them although she feels she could not trust them. And you can see how much they do care for her
even with their hidden agendas. Which makes it even more painful cause I love Brie’s relationships with both.
