[AUDIO BOOK] Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins is a glimpse into the mind of a man that pushes his body beyond the breaking point. After giving you a first hand account of his childhood, Goggins runs you through his experiences of being beaten down by military training, running ultra marathons, and breaking a pull-up record. (I say run instead of walk because this man does not walk anywhere.) Goggins by no means started out as the endurance beast that he is today. He gives a great recounting of his journey to losing weight and bouncing back from terrible injuries most people would lay down after. Goggins gives some techniques he used durning the many challenges he took on which are good. They involve leveling with yourself plainly. Goggins gives no room for fluff. He asks the readers to be brutally honest with themselves, and that is a policy that I appreciate. Overall the audiobook was great. In between chapters Goggins talks with Adam Skolnick and gives additional commentary. I would recommend picking this book up in audio format for this reason. If you need to get hyped about physically and mentally pushing yourself, this is the book for you.
