This book is SO CUTE. It's all about 2 simultaneously occuring GAY high school romances.

The entire story line was so sweet, and worked on exploring each character, their blockages towards happiness, and how they overcome them.

The pace remains consistent until the last 70 pages or so, a lot happens including a breakup and a kidnapping. The pace suddenly quickened and it began to feel quite unrealistic.

The ending was very happy...almost too happy, everyone was forgiven and frankly it just felt too sweet, but I can't complain beyond that.

Having the only queer black girl in the book be mean, intimidating, dominant, athletic and hyper sexual just didn't sit right with me. Having Noelle's direct juxtaposition being a blonde, blue-eyed innocent girl who "saves" Noelle (in more ways than one) from all the bad things in her life, both self-inflicted and not, gives an oddly colonial saviour energy to their paring which is a big part of the reason I enjoyed Jasper and Seth's romance much more.

Overall, it's a cute book for anyone who loves anything sickeningly sweet.
