This book was just the ticket for reading aloud to the eight-year-old resident ADHD girl.
The chapters are just the right length, the illustrations are expert (of course, being from Marla Frazee), the humour has a dual audience and it's fun to read aloud. Clementine is very funny and likeable. Her family is loving without being soppy. This is the modern day Ramona Quimby.
Now we have to read earlier books in the series.
