The Everlasting Rose by Dhonielle Clayton
3.0
This book was not as good as I had hoped it would be. It was still enjoyable, however I found the pacing to be very off. The last scene where Camille confronts the enemy was only 10 pages long, whereas the buildup this scene was 30 pages long. I just felt that it was very rushed towards the end. Some of the plot twists were unexpected but some were just so predictable and overly foreshadowed
Overall 3.5 stars not trash, but not a literary treasure. Starts from where the first book ended and provides a somewhat decent conclusion.

Amber's betrayal. I could smell that from miles away. Also why is Auguste trying to be redeemed? He doesn't deserve to be forgiven, even if he helps CamilleOverall 3.5 stars not trash, but not a literary treasure. Starts from where the first book ended and provides a somewhat decent conclusion.
